St. Mary's to host blood screening
St. Mary's Innovis Health, in cooperation with Detroit Lakes Noon Rotary, will be hosting a blood screening program Sept. 27-Oct. 1 from 7-10 a.m. in St. Mary's Innovis Health, Hospital Lower Level, Detroit Lakes. Parking for all participants is available in the Hospital West Lot.
This high quality blood screening clinic will be conducted to aid participants in assessing their current health status. The "profile" of tests being offered during this health screen will include cholesterol, triglyceride, HDL, LDL, glucose, potassium, creatinine, hemogram, white blood count and liver. These laboratory blood tests can alert an individual to an unknown pre-existing condition as well as encourage alteration of lifestyle/diet due to analysis values.
A $35 fee, made payable to Rotary Blood Screening, covers the entire process including the collection of blood sample, professional analysis, confidential reporting directly to you and refreshments after the sample is drawn. Please allow 7-10 days to receive test results.
Restricted food or drink within 9-12 hours before the test, water is permissible. Please contact your physician if you have any questions about taking prescribed medications the day of the test.
Proceeds from the blood screening benefit the Detroit Lakes Noon Rotary Scholarship Fund.
