Moorhead police seek help in finding 8-year-old girl

Frazee community classes

Frazee-Vergas Community Education has several upcoming sessions with a variety of topics.

  • Saturday, March 9: Alzheimer’s Awareness Conference with Jess Steinbrenner, regional care consultant with the Alzheimer’s Association; Frazee Event Center; no fee, free CEUs.
  • From 10-11:30 a.m. is an informational program for family members, caregivers, healthcare professionals, law enforcement and social services workers
  • Also Saturday, from 7:30-9:30 a.m. is a pancake and sausage breakfast hosted by the Frazee Lions. It is a free-will offering and open to the public.
  • Saturday is also a youth snowmobile certification with Ice Cracking Lodge Snowmobile Club members at the Lodge; 9 a.m.-noon; $5 payable that day. Participants must complete on-line CD work first and bring printed certificate to the class
  • Saturday, March 16: Healthcare CPR Certification with Frazee Rescue trainers at their site; 8 a.m.-noon; $25
  • Tuesday, March 19: Defensive Driving 4-hour refresher with Denise Lillis at Vergas State Bank Meeting Room; 12:30-4:30 p.m.; $15
  • Thursday, March 21: Estate Planning for Farm Families with Charles Seuntjens and Amanda Hanson of Pemberton Law Firm at the FHS Media Center (Enter door No. 16), 6:30-8 p.m.; $15
