Panel to explore potential shutdown

MOORHEAD - The Chamber will host a panel discussion in Moorhead Monday to explore the ramifications of a potential government shutdown in Minnesota in July.

Potential impacts on colleges and universities, nursing homes, clinics, law enforcement and businesses will be discussed. The event is from 4 to 5 p.m. at the Hjemkomst Center Auditorium, 202 1st Ave. N.

Panelists will be Moorhead City Manager Michael Redlinger; Clay County Administrator Brian Berg; Eventide Senior Living Communities CEO Jon Riewer; Joe Pederson, the executive director of the Lakes and Prairie Community Action Agency; and state Rep. Paul Marquart, D-Dilworth. There is no cost to attend the event, but registration is required.
