FCCLA members went to Sanford Health-Children's Miracle Network Office in Fargo to deliver baby rattles to the hospital children's wing.

In addition, the students gave a financial donation towards the foundation work. The students raised funds for their gifts through the "Cookies for Children" and "Charity Dance" fund raisers that were both held in November.

While at the hospital, the members were given a thorough tour of the children's wing, including the emergency transfer incubator, play area and general observation rooms.

The FCCLA members are a part of a Chapter Service FCCLA program to promote, bring awareness, and raise funds for the Children's Miracle Network Foundation.

Santas for seniors

Three seventh grade students from the FCCLA (Family Career and Community Members of America) chapter packed goodies in snowman bags and delivered them to the senior housing units in Lake Park just prior to their holiday break.

Brianne Huesman, Bailey Mattson and Cailey Rosing carefully selected items and packaged them with the seniors in mind. Included in the bags were apple cider and hot chocolate packets, an ornament, peppermints, chocolates and a holiday greeting.

The members took time to visit each senior that was home and wish them a happy holiday.
