Frazee woman accused of kicking man in head with motorcycle boots
Corinne Marie Fingalson, 54, of rural Frazee has been charged in Becker County District Court with felony third-degree assault and misdemeanor domestic assault.
According to court records, on June 28 a man reported that Fingalson, his girlfriend, had assaulted him and he was bleeding.
Arriving on the scene, deputies saw a large amount of blood on the man's arms, a small pool of blood on the kitchen floor, and blood drops throughout the kitchen. He was wiping blood off his face and hands with a rag.
He told police that the two of them had gone to eat and drink at the Toad Lake Store. She got angry about having to leave the bar and allegedly hit him on the head on the way home. He had to pull the vehicle over because he was afraid she'd cause an accident.
At home they began to argue about money and she hit him again. He tried to restain her but she allegedly bit his arms and kicked him in the head with her motorcycle boots. Then she fled the residence. The victim had a large cut two inches above his left eye and teeth mark cuts on his arm, with chunks of skin missing. The two have lived together for eight years. She was located and arrested.
Fingalson appeared July 7 before District Judge Gretchen Thilmony, who ordered her released on her own recognizance, without bail. She was ordered to follow all orders for protection or restraining orders in effect. Her next appearance was set for Aug. 6.
