New Arrivals share information and photographs of babies who are younger than 1 year old. New Arrivals can also announce a child's adoption. The announcements are published in the Wednesday Community section and on our Web site, www.dl-online.com. Deadline for receiving announcements is noon Monday.
Although we make every effort to publish announcements on the Sunday specified, due to space constraints some announcements will be held and published the following Sunday. Photos can be color or black and white. A color photo, if provided, will be used on our web site, but will be printed black and white in the newspaper.
If you'd like your photo returned, enclose a self-addressed, stamped envelope or indicate that the photo will be picked up. Photos are held for 30 days and then discarded.
We reserve the right to control editorial content on all announcements in the Community section. Information submitted will be edited to fit our style guidelines.
To receive additional copies of the printed newspaper by mail, please make prior arrangements with the front counter staff at (218) 847-3151. There is a small fee for this service.
