Frazee softball wrap-up

Awards were a-plenty for the Frazee softball team, after placing second in the Heart O’Lakes Conference and making a deep run in the Section 6-1A playoffs.

Senior pitcher Alexis Tappe was named All-State second team, while Frazee had four on the All-HOL team.

They included Alexis and Taylor Tappe, Autumn Mahoney and Katie McCorquodale.

Kennady Barlund and Ashley Bachmann were named HOL Honorable Mentioned.

The Lady Hornets finished with a 16-7 record, while finishing as HOL runners-up to Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton with a conference record of 8-2.

Mahoney was named the Frazee Most Valuable Player, while Grace Lacey, Bachmann and McCorquodale made the All-State Academic.
