Football: RLC handles Raiders

A dual rushing attack employed by visiting Red Lake County keyed a 36-12 victory over the Lake Park-Audubon Raiders Friday.

The combo of Sean Harris and Jacob Magnell ran for a combined 302 rushing yards, as each also scored twice.

Harris led the way with 162 yards on 16 carries (10.1 ypc), while Magnell complimented him with 140 yards on 18 carries (7.8).

Wyatt Casavan added the other rushing touchdown.

The Raiders were held to 168 rushing yards, led by junior Tory Haglund with 104 yards.

The Raiders (4-2) will have the tough task of traveling to Mahnomen (6-0) Friday.

The Indians are the Class 1A top ranked team and have outscored their opponents by a hefty 308-20 margin.
