The head baseball coaches of the Heart O'Lakes Conference recently gathered to vote for the 2017 HOL postseason awards.

Frazee's Logan Wacker, a junior shortstop/pitcher, earned the HOL MVP award.  Wacker hit .465 in conference play with an on base percentage of .511 and struck out only twice. On the mound, he went 2-0 with a 2.30 ERA while arguably making several web-gem plays at the shortstop position all season long.

The HOL Most Outstanding Pitcher Award went to Joey Roste, a senior from Barnesville. In conference play, Roste started four games and appeared on the mound in a total of eight of the Trojans' 12 conference games. Roste was 5-0, had an ERA of 0.50 allowing just two earned runs and 15 base hits in 28 innings pitched.

Head coach Phil Trowbridge and the Barnesville Trojans captured the school’s first Heart O’ Lakes Conference title this year.

Head coach Kyle VanDyke and the Perham Yellowjackets finished as the Section 8AA Tournament runners-up losing to Warroad in the title game.
