Freeman fourth in both diving events in Lancers dual victory
Zane Freeman finished in fourth place in both diving events for California Baptist University in a dual victory over future D-I and Western Athletic Conference foe Bakersfield Saturday afternoon at the Lancer Aquatics Center in Riverside, California.
The 10th-ranked Lancers in Division II defeated the Roadrunners by a score of 169-131.

Senior teammate Zach Parry won both diving events, with 294.38 points at 1-meter and 303.98 points on 3-meter, which were both NCAA Division II Championship qualifiers.
Junior Garret Chew took second on both boards and just eclipsed the 3-meter standard of 295 with 295.35 points and posted a 275.40 on the 1-meter.
CBU is transitioning to NCAA Division I and will join the Western Athletic Conference in 2018.

The Lancers are currently in the NCAA Division II as a member of the Pacific West Conference competing in swimming and diving in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.
The Cal Baptist men finished second at last season's conference championships.
