Storrusten named to All-State second team

Pelican Rapids' Tydan Storrusten, a 6-foot-2 senior guard who led his undefeated (33-0) boys basketball team to a Class 2A state championship on Saturday night, has been named to the the Associated Press Minnesota All-State team, as voted on by statewide media.

Mike Bruesewitz, a senior from Henry Sibley, was named player of the year and to the first team.

The other members of the first team include: Royce White, senior, Hopkins; Rodney Williams, senior, Robbinsdale Cooper; Sam Dower, senior, Osseo; and Raymond Cowels, senior, Hopkins.

The second team includes: Storrusten; Jordair Jett, senior, St. Bernard's; Mike Broghammer, senior, Hopkins; Nate Wolters, senior, St. Cloud Tech; and Kevin Noreen, senior, Minnesota Transitions.
