Swegarden shines from mound for LP-A baseball

The Lake Park-

Audubon baseball team

split a pair of games Mon-

day and Tuesday, with a 9-

8 loss to Norman County

East/Ulen-Hitterdal Mon-

day and a 5-2 win over

Norman County Tuesday.

Raider pitcher Mason

Swegarden continued his

dominating style of pitch-

ing with 10 strikeouts in a

complete-game win over

Norman County.

He allowed only two

hits in seven innings,

while walking only one.

Mike Hamre was 2-3

with four RBIs in LP-A's

loss to NCE/U-H, as Wixo

was a perfect 3-3 with two

early on LP-A pitcher Dy-

lan Omvig for four runs in

the second inning, then

added two more in each

the third and fourth

frames to key the win.

The win brings the

Raiders back to .500 at 2-2

and will host Menahga (1-

6) Friday, starting at 4:30
