There was little doubt of a Detroit Lakes win Tuesday night, as they crushed visiting Park Rapids 56-6 by winning every match but one.

The Lakers did have to work for their wins, though, with all but one match coming by decision. Park Rapids did have four open weights, as well.

"We wrestled very well," said DL head coach Rob Ullyott. "We got back some of the wrestlers who were out Saturday.

Senior Zach Baker had the upset of the night, as he defeated No. 4 ranked Ben Baumgartner 13-5.

Jason Griego had Dl's lone pin at 195 pounds, while Zach Baker posted a major decision over Ben Baumgartner at 138.

Parker Jackson remained on a hot roll with a 14-5 major decision on Justin Dravis at 145, while Tyler Bellefeuille was a 9-2 victor over Jared Sunram at 106.

Other Laker winners included Luke Payne (120), Logan Twigg (132), Jeff Gailfus (152), Cameron Fritz (220) and Mike Renteria (heavyweight).

Those winning by forfeit included Payton Jackson (113), Nate Francis (125), Jarett Nosal (160) and Brandon Dahring (170).

The Lakers will take part in the Moorhead triangular Thursday, along with D-G-F, starting at 5 p.m.
