MLC all-conference baseball team announced

The 2018 Minnesota Lakes Conference All-Conference baseball team has been released.

Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton and Frazee led the conference with four named to the all-conference team. Frazee head coach Andy Mekalson was named the coach of the year. D-G-F’s Taylor Irwin earned the most valuable player award.

Irwin hit .483 with a .576 OBP, including seven doubles. He was 2-2 on the mound with an ERA of 3.08 ERA, 25 strikeouts versus only four walks in conference games.

D-G-F won the conference title going 11-3 this summer followed by Frazee (10-4), Breckenridge (9-5), New York Mills (8-6), Parkers Prairie (7-7), Barnesville (6-8), Hawley (4-10), and Pelican Rapids (1-13)
