Panthers own second half against DL to stay perfect in the Mid-State

The Laker girls basketball team fell to 0-6 on the season despite the best offensive output this year in a 71-55 Mid-State Conference loss to the Panthers in Park Rapids Friday night.

For the second straight game, the Lakers played a competitive first half trailing by only one point 25-24 at the break, but second half adjustments went the way of the host Panthers.

Park Rapids outscored DL 46-31 in a high-scoring second half to remain perfect on the season (4-0). All four victories have come against Mid-State opponents.

Three Lakers scored in double figures. Bre Price led the way with 18 points; Lauryn Manning scored 16 and Lauren Tschider added 10.
