Schauer, Miosek named to P2P all-conference basketball

Lake Park-Audubon junior Maria Schauer and sophomore Etta Miosek were named to the all-conference teams for girls basketball in the Pine to Prairie Conference.

Schauer was second in rebounding (105) during conference play. Miosek was fourth with 99 boards. She was also first in shooting percentage making 63 percent of her shots and tied for first with Sophie Love of Climax/Fisher with four double-doubles this season. Schauer had three.

Schauer was named to the second team; Miosek earned a third team honorable mention.

LP-A led the conference in 3-point attempts (274), 3-point shots made (69), and 3-point attempts in a game (29).  LP-A, Ada-Borup and Park Christian all had a game with nine 3-pointers made in a game.

Karley Motschenbacher of Park Christian was named the conference’s most valuable player.

Co-Coaches of the year were Dave Smart of Ada-Borup and Kurt Motschenbacher of Park Christian.
