Minnesota Viking fans were scanning the new practice fields at TCO Performance Center this weekend and saw the tall wide receiver wearing number 15 making every catch when the ball was thrown to him.

They may not know how to pronounce his name now, but Brandon Zylstra is planning they'll know his name by the end of August.

Zylstra, the former Concordia Cobber standout is in his first NFL training camp with his hometown Vikings, after spending two seasons in the Canadian Football League.

Zylstra was a star for the Edmonton Eskimos, leading the CFL in receiving yards last season.

That comes on the heels of an outstanding career at Concordia College, where he had 120 career receptions and 18 touchdowns.

Zylstra is battling to make the roster, where he has a chance to be perhaps the number three or four wide receiver on the roster.
