No. 5 Thomas Longbella, No. 8 Jackson Foth and No. 10 Rick Kuhn are the three remaining top 10 qualifiers after completion of the Pine to Palm round of 16 Saturday morning at Detroit Country Club.

Longbella defeated No. 53 Cade Montplaisir 2-up sealing the victory on the 18th hole.

Kuhn posted an efficient win over No. 7 Nick Myhre 5&4. Kuhn had the shot of the morning session holing out from 68 yards on the 10th hole after recovering from a drive that hit a tree and bounced back left forcing him to set up the wedge shot.

Foth picked up a 5&4 victory over No. 9 Pat Deitz in the second match featuring top 10 qualifiers.

No. 45 Lucas Johnson defeated the highest remaining seed entering the round in No. 4 Andrew Proctor, a Ferris State sophomore, 4&3.
