Officers respond to shooting in Audubon

Laker trap team fourth after week three

The Detroit Lakes trapshooting team is in fourth place in Class 5A, Conference 1 after three weeks of competition.

The Lakers have totaled 9,548.5 points averaging 3,182.8 points per week.

Thief River Falls is leading the conference with 13,893.5.

Jacob Teiken is leading the Laker shooters. He is currently ranked second in the conference with an average of 23.17 targets out of 25. Thief River Falls’ Zach Habedank is the 5A-1 leader with an average of 23.50.

Kade Ramsey, DL’s state representative from last year’s tournament, is sixth (23.00). Noah Olds is ranked 12th averaging 22.17, while Brady Amundson is in the top 25 with a 21.17 average, ranked 25th overall.

The Prowlers have the top four ranked female shooters, led by Jordyn Kasprick with 23.67.

Jenna Tollefson (17.33-16th), Alecia Akers (15.17-22nd) and Kira Wolf (14.33-25th) are all ranked in the top 25 of the conference.

Ramsey All-Conference in Mid-State

DL hosted the annual Mid-State Conference meet at Becker County Sportsmen’s Club Wednesday, May 16.

Ramsey shot 47/50 to place in a tie for fifth and earn all-conference honors.

Teiken 45/50, Dillon Oien 44/50 and Olds 44/50 earned honorable mention distinctions.
