The Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) wrapped up its 2018 Outdoor Track and Field season last weekend and put the finishing touches on another tremendous season with the announcement of its annual Women's Outdoor Track and Field awards on Thursday. Among those honored from Bethel was Erin Alpers, AddieKay Johnson (Detroit Lakes), Delia Labatt, and Hannah Sankey.

Delia Labatt and Hannah Sankey earned All-MIAC honors in both the 400-meter race and the 4x400-meter relay. Labatt finished No. 1 in the open race with a time of 56.25, while Sankey finished third with a time of 56.84. AddieKay Johnson took home honorable mention accolades with a fourth place finish in the same event. The trio, along with Erin Alpers, finished No. 1 in the 4x400-meter relay with a time of 3:42.53.

In addition to the top individual award-winners, the MIAC recognized the 2018 Women's Outdoor Track and Field All-MIAC Sportsmanship team. Members of the All-MIAC Sportsmanship team are selected by their coaches and teammates as individuals who demonstrate ideals of positive sportsmanship both on and off the field of competition. Erin Alpers was chosen to represent Bethel on this prestigious list.
