In 2009, former Olympic Gold Medalist, Tommy Bishop, formed AWF to move wrestling in a new direction. Established as an e-federation, AWF brought role-play to professional wrestling. Within the first week, various first-time wrestlers and former world heavyweight champions were eager to be apart of AWF’s unique wrestling style.

Nearly 10 years later, the company has traveled nationwide and appears weekly on “Monday Night Madness,” and “Sunday Night Insanity,” and monthly on various pay-per-view events.

Performing live at Shooting Star will be former AWA and WWE star, Tony Denucci, amongst other entertaining wrestlers who will go head-to-head in heavyweight, tag team and other battles. Wrestling legend Baron Von Raschke, and former MWA and WWF super star “Jumping” Jim Brunzell, will be signing autographs. AWF’s entertaining twist on wrestling is sure to keep audiences at the edge of their seat.
