Blake LaFleur of Devils Lake caught this 18½ -inch white bass Feb. 13 on Devils Lake. He is submitting the catch, which weighed 4.27 and 4.32 pounds, to the International Game Fish Association as a world record for 2-pound-test line. Confirmation will take several months.
