The Lakes Area Parrot Heads recently made a $6,070 donation to the Marshmallow Foundation, a local shelter for abandoned animals. The donation represented the proceeds from the Parrot Heads’ Aug. 26 Macaws for Paws fundraiser at Zorbaz, which included a raffle silent auction and live music by Jambo Joe Bones.
