MOORHEAD—A former Moorhead day care provider was sentenced Thursday to 30 days in jail after violating probation by driving drunk after pleading guilty in January 2014 to taking care of children while she was intoxicated. SABIN, Minn. – Clay County Sheriff’s deputies have arrested the owner of a home that burned here two weeks ago for arson. Clay County Sheriff’s Lt. Stephen Landsem said Jon Leo Lague, 51, was arrested on suspicion of second-degree arson Wednesday. Lague’s arrest follows an investigation that began Feb. 6, after firefighters responded to an active house fire at 115 2nd St.

Danny Lee Bettcher, 61, was released Dec. 29 after serving about five years in prison for his latest drunken driving-related conviction, said Minnesota Department of Corrections spokeswoman Sarah Latuseck.
