BELVIEW, Minn. — Investigators have located a vehicle believed to be driven by Andrew Joseph Dikken, 28, of Granite Falls, the person of interest in a Monday shooting death Granite Falls. According to the State Department of Public Safety, the 1996 GMC Sierra pickup was found in a remote location approximately five miles north of Belview, off of Redwood County Road 7, to the southeast of Granite Falls in west-central Minnesota. Investigators are continuing to search for Dikken.
GRANITE FALLS — Authorities investigating the Monday morning shooting death of a 26-year-old Granite Falls woman are still trying to locate a man referred to as a "person of interest" in the homicide. Law enforcement has not released the name of the woman who was killed, but multiple sources say it was Kara Ann Monson.

A piece of paper floated around on our kitchen counter for several weeks. On it was a hastily scribbled recipe for Buffalo Chicken Quesadillas. ADA, Minn. – A fire destroyed a home here Sunday night, though officials are still searching for what caused the blaze. The fire was reported by a passerby at about 11 p.m. and firefighters were on the scene quickly, according to Ada Police Chief Jody Bueng. Bueng said the fire, which appeared to have originated in the kitchen area, spread quickly. The house was a total loss, he said. Bueng said firefighters remained on the scene until about 6 a.m. Monday and returned later that morning when hotspots flared up again. He said no one was home at the time of the fire.
MINNEAPOLIS – Detroit Lakes, Minn., product Adam Thielen signed to the Minnesota Vikings practice squad on Sunday, the team announced. A wide receiver who played collegiately at Minnesota State-Mankato, Thielen was among the team’s final cuts on Saturday. GLYNDON, Minn. – Cass County sheriff’s deputies arrested a man in a field about 10 miles north of here early Sunday after a vehicle and foot pursuit lasted more than an hour. Sgt. Brian Norberg said a deputy tried to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation shortly before 2:30 a.m.
