MOORHEAD – The father accused in the death of his 5-month-old baby girl is set to stand trial Oct. 8. Andrew Sandstrom, 24, pleaded not guilty Thursday to the charge of second-degree manslaughter. He is accused of leaving his daughter Christiana Sandstrom in a hot car for hours, leading to her death. PELICAN RAPIDS, Minn. – Zebra mussels have been confirmed in Lake Lida, a popular Otter Tail County lake near here, according to a news release issued Wednesday by the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources. DNR crews found two zebra mussels late last week, the release stated.

A Grand Rapids man who allegedly stabbed another man multiple times Tuesday was charged with six crimes today, including attempted second-degree murder. Joshua Joseph Julien, 28, is being held on $250,000 bail without conditions or $150,000 with conditions.
