Becker County Auditor-treasurer Ryan Tangen is leaving his post and taking a position at the Detroit Lakes Public School as the district’s business manager. Superintendent Doug Froke released that information Friday afternoon, after district leaders interviewed three final candidates for the position Monday night. “We have gotten a verbal commitment from Ryan and have come to terms on a salary and benefits package,” said Froke, adding that the actual contract for Tangen will be acted upon by the school board at its Feb.
