Boys basketball: Fergus Falls takes the first in back-to-back games against Detroit Lakes

The Detroit Lakes boys basketball team had three players in double digit scoring in Saturday’s loss to Fergus Falls.

Mason Carrier led the Lakers (1-6) with 21 points in the 74-61 loss to the Otters (4-4). Christian Solberg finished with 12 points, while Nate Cihak scored 10. Carrier also had a team-high nine rebounds.

The Lakers have lost six straight games ahead of a rematch with Fergus Falls on Jan. 11 on the road.
