Boys basketball: Marsh shines in loss at Fergus Falls

Detroit Lakes sophomore Brandton Marsh had his breakout game at the varsity level on Tuesday night in the Lakers’ 84-66 loss to Fergus Falls.

Marsh had a team-high 20 points. He added six rebounds and two steals as well. Mason Carrier had 14 points and a team-high seven boards, while Nate Cihak and Devon Berg finished the night with double-digit points.

Fergus Falls (5-4) senior Kaden Conlin had an impressive 31 points in the win. Detroit Lakes led for the first seven minutes of the game before the Otters closed the gap. Detroit Lakes is 1-7 on the season.
