Consolidated Title Services has announced the retirement of Deb Ormseth set for Jan. 4, 2019. Ormseth has served as a licensed title insurance agent as well as a licensed abstracter for the state of Minnesota for over 32 years. Her duties over the years included accounts payable, accounts receivables, title insurance, construction disbursing and commercial construction.

On March 31, 1986, Ormseth began her career when the company was located in the Becker County Courthouse, which was small but ideal for her position, as she was very close to all of the county information. She began her career by preparing commitments and policies on carbon forms with typewriters. She has witnessed technological advancements first hand by first sending documents through the mail, then the fax machine, then e-mails and now the new age of digital signatures.

Ormseth has no plans of slowing down in her retirement. She has already signed up for a 26 week online photography class and also plans to fill her time with quilting, snowshoeing, reading and volunteering.

Ormseth and her husband Bill have been married for 39 years and plan to do a bit of traveling as well.

"Deb will be greatly missed and the staff of Consolidated Title Services want to thank her for her hard work and many years of dedication to the company. We wish her the very best in her retirement," reads a Consolidated Title Services press release sent out on Ormseth's behalf.
