MMFCU VP of Training and Community Relations named
Baxter, Minn. — Mid Minnesota Federal Credit Union (MMFCU) recently promoted Jill Carlson to Vice President of Training and Community Relations.
Carlson has been with MMFCU for over 12 years, providing internal staff development and community education. She earned a Masters Degree in Management with an emphasis in Leadership. In addition, Carlson has earned her certification in Credit Union Development Educator and Financial Counselor.
"Jill's passion and dedication is to mentor and provide career and personal development to staff at Mid Minnesota and others in the community. The educational initiative's she provides for financial wellness within the communities we serve is outstanding. I am proud of her accomplishment in meeting the real life skills needed by our young people, by expanding and developing a personal finance program to high schoolers in eight school districts with in our field of membership," said Chuck Albrecht, President/CEO of MMFCU.
Carlson will continue to plan and implement the leadership and employee development programs of the credit union by investing significant time and resources mentoring staff to reach their personal and professional goals.
Carlson donates her time and talents by serving on numerous local and state organizational boards and advisory councils. Currently she serves on the boards of the Crossing Arts Alliance, Brainerd Lakes Chamber, Brainerd Lakes Area Women's Fund, and developed the Minnesota Credit Union Network Mentorship Advisory team. She previously served as President of the Brainerd School Foundation, and President of Brainerd Noon Rotary Club.
