The annual Lake Region Builders Association 2019 award winners were announced at the association's meeting in January:
- Builder of the Year: MLC Custom Homes, Detroit Lakes
- Remodeler of the Year: Do Right Construction, Detroit Lakes
- Rising Star: JBS Builders, Richville
- Associate of the Year: Builders FirstSource, Detroit Lakes
- Builders Employing Associate Members (BEAM): Briard Construction, Detroit Lakes
- Citizenship: Jutz Excavating, Frazee
Award winners were nominated by fellow association members, according to a news release. The association serves the building industry in Becker, Otter Tail, Mahnomen, Wilkin and Norman counties.
