Former Detroit Lakes High School student council advisor Bonnie Mohs is now the housing manager at Union Central.
The new senior living apartment complex located the old Washington School building is managed by Ecumen and now has a total of 30 units.
Mohs is originally from Pelican Rapids. She graduated from North Dakota State University with a home economics education degree.
After teaching in Bemidji and Detroit Lakes for years, Mohs taking on a new challenge at Union Central.
"I thought it would be a way I could combine all of my past experiences," she said.

Mohs lives in Detroit Lakes with husband, Al. They have three grown children, Christopher, Tyler and Jenna.
