Nick Olson took over Country Wood Products and Services in Audubon as the new owner at the end of October.
"This is kind of a new adventure," Olson said. "I've always had an interest in woodworking, but it's always just been more of a hobby ... I was looking for a new opportunity."
Since starting, Olson has worked toward upgrading what the business offers. They focus on "providing high-quality woodwork, mouldings, trim work and that sort of thing for home and business construction" and are adding more specialty and custom work, Olson said.
"We're not afraid to look at any type of project," he said.
