Dan Skinner of Detroit Lakes has joined the Karvakko Engineering staff as the survey department manager, where he will oversee daily department operations in both Bemidji and Minot.
Skinner brings more than 25 years of surveying and is a licensed land surveyor in Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota.
He is currently the board of directors secretary for the Minnesota Society of Professional Surveyors, past-chairman of the Minnesota Land Surveyor’s Foun-dation, and a member of the Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota Societies of Professional Surveyors and National Society of Professional Surveyors.
He is a 1992 graduate of Bemidji State University with a degree in geography, and an emphasis in urban and regional land use planning.
Karvakko Engi-neering is headquartered in Bemidji, with branch offices in Minot, N.D., and Chassell, Mich.
