Emmanuel Community, along with other Ecumen communities, has been named one of Minnesota's Best Places to Work by the Minneapolis-Saint Paul Business Journal for the seventh straight year.
The award is based on an extensive employee-based survey conducted on behalf of the publication.
Ecumen is the second-most tenured company to receive this award and ranked seventh in the Top 10 rankings of large companies.
More than 220 companies were nominated for the award.
In 2011, Ecumen has also been honored by the Minneapolis Star Tribune as one of Minnesota's Top 100 Workplaces and as one of the state's best places to work by Minnesota Monthly Magazine.

"When we received this award the very first time in 2004, it was definitely an honor, and the award feels even better today," said Robin Dunbar, Ecumen's vice president of human resources.
"Seven straight years shows the consistent contributions and the dedication of employees to our progress and culture."
"We're very fortunate at Emmanuel Community to attract talented people in the community who want to work with us and make lives better," said Janet Green, Regional Director, "Empowering our employees empowers the people we serve. It's an essential combination."
Emmanuel Community employs 250 people locally, and Ecumen employs nearly 4,000 people, primarily in Minnesota.
Ecumen also operates in Wisconsin, North Dakota and Idaho, serving more than 10,000 seniors.
