Riham Feshir has joined the Detroit Lakes Newspaper team as a reporter.
She previously worked for the Park Rapids Enterprise for one and a half years as a print and online reporter and photographer. During her time at the Enterprise -- a Forum Communications newspaper -- she wrote features, entertainment stories, city government and school board articles.
Feshir graduated from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities campus in May of 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism and mass communication.
In college, she worked for the Minnesota Daily, the campus newspaper, where she covered the international issues beat. She also completed internships at the St. Paul Pioneer Press and Metropolitan Media Group community magazines based in Bloomington.
Feshir is now writing education, business and Lake Area Press stories for Detroit Lakes Newspapers.
