On January 1 Jack Chivers Realty opened a branch office in downtown Fargo and added a “window to lakes country” in its goal of marketing beyond borders.
The office is located in the heart of Fargo on Main Avenue.
With two large windows on street level, Jack Chivers Realty is showcasing exclusive properties for sale to the walking public downtown.
After the acquisition of Jack Chivers Realty one year ago, Dirk Ockhardt linked his Fargo-based company called Ockhardt Realty to Lakes Country and became the new broker of Jack Chivers Realty.
Ockhardt says although the new branch office is located in Fargo, lakes-area agents will be handling the listings featured in the windows.

“When buying lake property or a condo downtown Fargo you are dealing with two very different types of properties and need an expert for each purchase,” said Ockhardt.
“It is important to keep the two companies working only in their “home” markets to guarantee local expertise and best service to clients.”
