A local private wealth advisor for Carrier and Varty, a private-advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial Services in Detroit Lakes, received a 2022 Five Star Wealth Manager award in December.
According to a company news release, Matthew Carrier, a private wealth advisor, received the award after meeting all 10 of the award eligibility requirements for quality service, including: client retention rates, client assets administered, firm review, and favorable regulatory and complaint history.
Carrier is a graduate of the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management with a Bachelor's Degree in finance and marketing. He has worked for Ameriprise Financial for 24 years, the news release stated.
The annual Five Star Wealth Manager awards from Five Star Professional, a third-party research firm, go to less than 7% of the wealth managers in the region and highlight individuals who provide favorable quality services.
Ameriprise Financial Services provide a full range of services geared toward individual and institutional investors, the news release stated.
