Members of the Detroit Lakes Community and Cultural Center don't have to go too far for their caffeine jolt.
MoJoes Coffeehouse is now open in the former Mary's Brew location at the DLCCC and will have an open house Monday, Nov. 22, from 5 to 7 p.m.
The five owners of Country Kitchen were approached by the DLCCC to join the building in offering coffee, specialty drinks, soups and sandwiches for members of the community center as well as the public.
Co-owner Julian Gilbert said Country Kitchen was already used to catering to various events at the DLCCC and when the opportunity arose, the owners thought it was a good idea to snatch it up.
"It's a really, really good partnership that we have," he said.

On a typical weekday at MoJoes Coffeehouse, a number of community center members stop by to get their morning coffee, read the paper and chat with some friends.
Even former owner of the location, Mary Davis, has become a loyal customer who hangs out there on a regular basis.
"Mary did an awesome job here and built a nice clientele," Gilbert said.
The coffeehouse not only caters to community center goers, it's geared to the whole community, especially those working nearby at the Becker County Courthouse or Wells Fargo Bank.
Gilbert said a few changes have been made to the old menu; it's now more extensive with made-to-order salads and sandwiches in addition to the usual cappuccinos, lattés and espresso drinks.
There are also baked goods from brownies to cinnamon rolls, as well as, cold drinks from malts to fresh smoothies.
The Monday open house will give new customers the chance to sample some of the menu items and order specialty drinks for $1 each.
MoJoe's is open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays.
