The Lakes Country Association of Realtors announced its new officers and board of directors.
The board of directors was elected at LCAR’s annual meeting on September 11 at the Detroit Lakes Holiday Inn.
Jason Ziegler of Whitetail Properties was named as Lakes Country Association of Realtors 2014-2015 President.
Louella Fraser of Keller Williams Realty Professionals will serve as vice president/president elect, and Barb Grunewald of Coldwell Banker Preferred Partners will serve as secretary/treasurer.
Jimmy Kaiser of Cormorant Realty is LCAR’s past president.

The Directors on the board include: Vince Bachmann of Bachmann Carow Real Estate, Lisa Piche of Counselor Realty, Linda Stoll of Coldwell Banker Preferred Partners, Arianna Zavala of Coldwell Banker Preferred Partners, and Bruce Zeller of Lakeplace.com .
Mark Mason of Prudential Premier Real Estate represents LCAR as a director on the Minnesota Association of Realtors Board of Directors.
The annual meeting was attended by approximately 93 members and guests. Members brought in 103.4 pounds of donation items and $1,070 to donate to the Becker County Food Pantry.
Patty LaBarre of ERA Northland Realty received the Distinguished Service Award for her many years of dedicated service to the association, as well as to the community.
Jimmy Kaiser and Marvel Haynes were recognized for their years of service on the Lakes Country Association of Realtors Board.
Marvel Haynes has served on the board for 17 years while Jimmy Kaiser has served for 13 years and was also the President in the 2013-2014 year. This year’s Realtor of the Year Award was given to Greg Anderson of Cormorant Realty.
This award is given to the member who best exemplifies the association’s dedication to professionalism, volunteerism, and involvement in the community, as well as in the Lakes Country Association of Realtors.
This award is the highest honor that Lakes Country Association of Realtors can award to one of its members.
