Just one month after announcing the move in a previous Tribune article, the Boys and Girls Club Thrift Store and More opened its new doors at the former Kmart building on Monday, Feb. 3.
The new location is almost twice as big as the former building on Highway 10 East, according to a news release. John Kerzman, the Chairman of the Boys & Girls Club Thrift Store and More, said in the article that they've had to put some of their items in semi-trailers because there wasn't enough room at that Highway 10 E building.
"The extra footage is going to be utilized," Kerzman said.
The new space also has a bigger parking lot with enough space to provide a donation drop off door with "drive-through" access, the news release said.
Location: 1305 Highway 10 W. (former Kmart building)
