The WDAZ news team has won the first Regional Emmy in the 49 year history of WDAZ-TV.
The Emmy was awarded for Team Coverage for “The Search for Anthony.”
The news team received its award at the NATAS-Upper Midwest Regional Emmy Gala at Target Field in Minneapolis on September 13th.
“The Regional Emmy is one of the most prestigious awards in all of journalism,” says Rob Horken, WDAZ station manager.
“It took a lot of hard work to get this award and I am very proud of everyone on camera and behind the scenes.”
