The Frazee Spring Arts Festival is a Frazee Schools annual event that provides an opportunity to view original works of art and solo and group performances by our Jr & Sr. High choirs and Jr. High band.
This year it is April 17 from 6:30-9 p.m. and April 20 from 8:30 a.m. to noon in the Frazee High School main gym.
All art was created this school year by Frazee art students in kindergarten through high school. The art will be displayed in a gallery setting allowing you to walk from the kindergarten gallery through the senior art displays while enjoying the music performances.
There will also be a silent auction of 10 large window mosaics created during Mosaic Mania 2015. Bid sheets will be set up and open to accept bids from 6:30-8:45.
Minimum bid is $50 if you would like to bid on a window but can’t be in attendance. You can call Linda Beilke on or before April 16 at 334-3181 x4620 and state your bid amount, which window(s) and your phone number.
All those with winning bids will be contacted as soon as possible. Mosaics will be able to be picked up Tuesday, April 21, in the FHS office during school hours.
All proceeds go to Frazee School arts and DLCCC arts outreach.
The solo and small ensemble Vocal, Jr and Sr. High Choir and Jr. High Band performance is throughout the Friday evening festival.
There will be an Empty Bowl Project, where ceramic bowls will be available for purchase, starting at $1, with proceeds going to the Becker County Food Pantry.
