BAGLEY - Dick Roue is the latest to perform for Farm By The Lakes' Storytelling Series. He'll appear at the Bagley Public Library at 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 28. The event is free and open to the public.

From the Fosston area, Roue is a storyteller who has been spinning tales for more than 50 years.

"I talk about experiences from life - childhood on the farm, years in the military, years in law enforcement, etc...with maybe a touch of exaggeration, and quite a bit of humor thrown in," Roue said.

He tells stories for the pleasure of his audience and his own enjoyment, whether he is reading poetry for senior citizen groups or schools, giving lectures on events in history, speaking in church, or just telling jokes.
