The 152nd Annual White Earth Reservation Celebration and Powwow has been postponed due to COVID-19 health concerns, according to a news release from White Earth. The event was scheduled for June 12-14.

The postponement is necessary in order to protect tribal and community members, and adhere to the recommendations not to meet in large groups during this health event, according to the White Earth Reservation Business Committee.

In June, the committee will either set a new date for the celebration or cancel this year’s event, according to the release.
