Jaycees Polar Pile-Up-CANCELED: The Detroit Lakes Jaycees were forced to cancel their 2021 Polar Pile-Up at the Becker County Fairgrounds due to COVID-19 safety restrictions. The announcement was made via their Facebook page on Monday, Feb. 22.

Lenten Fish Fry: The Holy Rosary Knights of Columbus will be sponsoring a ”Take Out Only” Lenten Fish Fry; pickup is between 5-7 p.m. in the Holy Rosary Church south parking lot. Menu includes fish, potatoes, coleslaw, baked beans, bun and dessert Cost is $10 for adults.

Women's EDGE-Rose McGee: The first part of the Detroit Lakes Regional Chamber of Commerce's 2021 Women's EDGE speaker series will be presented virtually, from 3 to 5 p.m. The featured speaker is Rose McGee, also known as the "Sweet Potato Pie Comfort Lady." Naytahwaush Nightriders' 51st Annual Snodeo: The Naytahwaush Nightriders' 51st Annual Snodeo is set for Saturday and Sunday, March 6-7 at Pinehurst Resort. Saturday's events include the Snodeo 200 snowmobile races on the lake, a radar run, vintage snowmobile show and old timers' ride, while Sunday's lineup includes more lake races, another radar run and prize drawings. There is plenty of room for ice castles and campers to park on South Twin Lake; gate fee is $10 per day, per person, though those age 12 and under will be admitted free of charge. Proceeds from the event are used for trail maintenance.
