Detroit Lakes High School is celebrating the Laker football team's Homecoming next week, with a slew of activities leading up to Friday's big game against Pequot Lakes at Mollberg Field.

Here's a day-to-day breakdown of all the fun:

Monday, Sept. 27: Homecoming coronation, 2:40 p.m., Ralph Anderson Gymnasium; boys soccer vs. Little Falls, 7 p.m. Due to a scheduling conflict, the Powder Puff Football game is being moved to Monday, Oct. 4.

Tuesday, Sept. 28: Girls tennis vs. Fergus Falls, 4 p.m.; girls swimming vs. Perham, 6y p.m.; boys soccer vs. East Grand Forks, 7 p.m.

Wednesday, Sept. 29: Parade of Schools. Participants meet in the DLHS gym, with royalty in formal attire, at 8:15 a.m. They will then proceed to Detroit Lakes Middle School, 8:30 a.m., Roosevelt Elementary, 9:15 a.m., Lincoln Education Center, 9:50 a.m., Holy Rosary School, 10:10 a.m., and Rossman Elementary, 10;45 a.m., returning to DLHS at 11:15 a.m. There will also be a Pep Fest and Spirit Flag competition at the high school during intervention time, 2:52-3:30 p.m.

Thursday, Sept. 30: Girls Tennis vs. Pequot Lakes, 4:30 p.m.; girls soccer vs. Pequot Lakes, 5 p.m.; boys soccer vs. Fergus Falls, 7 p.m.; volleyball at Staples-Motley, 7:30 p.m.

Friday, Oct. 1: Senior Class picture, 1:15 p.m.; Homecoming Parade, 2:15 p.m.; football vs. Pequot Lakes, 7 p.m., with Homecoming Dance to follow.

Monday, Oct. 4: Powder Puff Football, with the junior girls taking on the senior girls, 7:30 p.m. Admission $5.

Students will also be asked to show their Laker Pride by participating in different dress-up days during the week, as follows: Monochromatic Monday; Country/Flannel Tuesday; Red & White Wednesday; Dress for Retirement Thursday; Fandom Friday.
