Each submission must include the following: Date, time and location of event, whether it is recurring or a one-time happening, and where to go for more information (phone, email and/or website). Also include whether the event is free or paid admission, and how much it costs when applicable.

LARL Presents Author Lorna Landvik: Lake Agassiz Regional Library (LARL) will host a virtual author presentation by Minnesota's own Lorna Landvik — performer and author of 12 popular novels including 2020's "Chronicles of a Radical Hag (With Recipes)" — at 6:30 p.m. The presentation will be shown live online at the LARL website, larl.org/lornalandvik, with an in-person, live screening of the presentation at the Moorhead Public Library. The author will share stories of her writing process and career, as well as stories of her life and what has inspired her. A fun and informative evening is guaranteed. Newsies: The Detroit Lakes High School fall musical, "Newsies," will be presented in five performances at Detroit Lakes Middle School's George Simson Auditorium. Performance dates and times are Saturday, Nov. 6, 7:30 p.m.; Sunday, Nov. 7, 3 p.m.; Friday, Nov. 12, 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 13, 7:30 PM. Complete Works of William Shakespeare: Minnesota State Community & Technical College is presenting five performances of "The Complete Works of William Shakespeare-Abridged," at the Waage Theatre on M State's Fergus Falls campus. Performance times are 7:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, Nov. 5, 6, 12 and 13, as well as 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 14. This production will feature Detroit Lakes' own Jeremiah Kratzke.
