The occasion? A 60th birthday bash for Lake Agassiz Regional Library, of which the Detroit Lakes branch is a part. Eggebraaten sang crowd favorites like "Margaritaville" and "Country Roads," interspersed with anecdotes about his years as a local police officer (he retired as Detroit Lakes Police Chief four and a half years ago).
The concert was also part of the opening day of Detroit Lakes' 85th Northwest Water Carnival, which runs through Sunday, July 18.
